Welcome to the Lincoln Fencing Club, a premier fencing club located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our mission is to provide a safe, family-centered, and personally challenging fencing program that develops people as well as fencers. We believe in the importance of safety, respect, responsibility, and inclusivity. Our goal is to create an environment where fencers of all ages and skill levels can come together to learn, grow, and have fun.
Our History
Founded in 1980 by Kit Boesch, Rick Kohn, and Damon Scaggs, the Lincoln Fencing Club has a rich history of promoting the sport of fencing in the Lincoln community. Over the years, the club has been led by several prominent coaches, including Janos Gasparin, Archil Lortkipanidze, Kristian Anderson, Cassidy Kovanda, and Brad Tucker. Today, our club has over 75 members and continues to grow, offering classes for youth from age eight to adults up to age seventy-five.
Our Programs
At the Lincoln Fencing Club, we offer a variety of programs to suit every level of experience and interest. Our classes include:
- Youth classes for fencers aged 8 and up
- Adult classes for recreational and competitive fencers
- Private coaching sessions for individualized instruction

The Lincoln Fencing Club is located in the Gateway Mall, providing a convenient and accessible location for our members. Our facilities include a spacious fencing hall with three competition strips, changing rooms, and amenities for our members.
