Poor Quality and Customer Service
Several reviewers have expressed their dissatisfaction with Duramax sheds, citing issues with the product's durability and the company's customer service.
Inadequate Weather Resistance
Jessica Rosario, who purchased a Duramax shed in May 2020, reported that the roof collapsed in February 2021, despite the warranty not covering weather-related damages. She spent $3,000 on the shed, but it didn't even last a year. Rosario also noted that Duramax may not be suitable for Canadian weather conditions, which differ significantly from those in California.
Missing Parts and Unresponsive Support
Michael Cassen, who bought a 10.5 x 10.5 Woodridge plus shed, discovered that two essential roof panels were missing when he built the shed. Despite numerous attempts to contact support, he received only one random email stating that the company did not have the necessary parts in stock. Cassen felt that it was unacceptable for Duramax to sell a product without providing normal support and ensuring that all parts are included.
Unclear Communication and Inconsistent Delivery
Terry Jenkins, who ordered a shed through a local supplier, never received the item, despite being given a delivery date. Nobody could locate the item, and the supplier failed to provide updates or resolve the issue. Jenkins stated that, even if his paycheck was at stake, he expected better communication and problem-solving from the company.
