Bruce Fence, a family-owned business, has been providing top-quality fencing solutions for the Capital Region for over 40 years. Our commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and value has made us the go-to choice for residential and commercial clients alike.

Established in 1970 by Mark and Mary Bruce, we began as a small sub-contractor for chain link fence sold by Montgomery Ward. We soon added Sears and overflow work from two other fence companies in the area. Our growth was steady, with more and more requests to purchase directly from us. In 1973, we moved our business from Troy to a 400 sq. ft building on Route 9 in Latham, which now serves as part of our storefront.

Today, our outdoor display area, indoor showroom, offices, metal, wood, and PVC fabricating buildings occupy more than 14,400 sq. ft on 4 acres of land. Our dedicated team is personally supervised by our son Mark, with several members having been with us since right out of high school. We have watched them mature into talented tradespeople and responsible members of the community.
