Our Story

The Elyria Fence Company has been a staple in the community since 1932. Founded by Thomas Polen, a young Italian immigrant who came to America in the early 1900s in search of the American dream. With a background in farming and tool and die making, Mr. Polen started the Elyria Fence Co. with the dream of creating a business that would stand the test of time. Since then, the company has remained family-owned and operated, upholding the same values and principles that have been passed down through generations.

Our Services

At Elyria Fence Inc., we take pride in providing top-quality fencing solutions for both residential and commercial clients. Our extensive range of products includes wooden fences, ornamental iron and aluminum fences, chain link fences, and polyvinyl fences. We offer over 150 different wood fence designs and pergola designs constructed from handcrafted White Cedar wood. Each design is handcrafted, and we use only the finest materials. Our installers are skilled professionals with years of experience, taking pride in every job they complete.

Our Showroom

Visit our showroom and explore over 90 different fence panels, sample panels on display, photo albums showcasing previous work, and people happy to answer any questions. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and by appointment only on Saturdays.
