Quality of Service
All City Fence was praised by some customers for their prompt and courteous service. Rod Mael, who gave the company 5 stars, mentioned that everyone he dealt with was a "delight" and that the company made the process "easy and stressless". Blu Sky also had a positive experience, stating that the salesman was "exceptionally knowledgeable" and helped him find the right product despite being in a hurry.
Pricing Issues
However, several customers had issues with the company's pricing. Jacob W. gave the company 1 star, stating that their prices were "out of control" and significantly higher than those of other fencing providers in Seattle. Stephanie W. also had a problem with the quote she received, which she felt was inflated. According to her, the labor costs for constructing an 8-foot section of fencing were unrealistically high.
Accountability
Some customers felt that the company was unaccountable and lacked transparency in their business practices. Tom Whalen, who gave the company 1 star, related an unsatisfactory experience with the company's accounting practices. He was charged over $700 for a simple repair, and when he asked for a detailed invoice, he was told that the company had a 2-hour minimum and an hourly rate of $350. Cobblestone Hoa also had a similar issue, feeling that the company was dishonest and overcharged them.
Communication
Some customers experienced difficulties in communicating with the company. Donne RAMonsite felt that the company was unresponsive, and he had to make multiple calls to get a quote. Soumak Ghosh also had trouble getting an estimate, and it took several months to receive a contract.
Conclusion
It appears that All City Fence has some strengths and weaknesses. While some customers had positive experiences with the company, others were negatively impacted by high prices and poor communication. It's important to carefully review quotes and estimates before hiring a company, and to question any unusual or excessive costs.
